Dear madam,

Fundamentally, there is missed period in pregnancy. Unless you miss a period, we do not suspect pregnancy.

Secondly, the egg release takes place 14 days prior to next expected menses, which usually happens somewhere near the middle of the 28-30 days cycle. So, the chance of pregnancy with the unprotected sex on the second day of menstruation is practically nil. There was no necessity for the plan B pill for that intercourse.

I am sure, you will get menses eventually. If they are delayed, for your satisfaction you may get urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography performed for confirmation of (no) pregnancy, 8-10 days after missed period since done earlier, they are not conclusive.

Hope this will remove your stress.
